-Ashley Morris (quote of the day)
We love dogs here in apt. 2301. It's been made apparent several times that one of my roommates, not naming any names, would actually choose a PUPPY over a BABY, if the option came with giving birth...
Interesting is the perfect word to describe my day.
Paul's band played at Common Grounds last night. It so wonderful having them here and the weather was great for an outdoors show.
Even though the guys were here, I still had school to attend..and so once I was out, I was picked up by all 6 of them, in my 5 seat car. I soon found out that 2 boys were riding in the trunk.
So that was something.
Later, we had lunch and I received some sad news that my 99 year old Great Grandmother, Mom Muzzy, passed away today. It is sad that she is gone from this Earth, but I know she is much happier and satisfied now, praising the King and marveling in His glorious presence. It is such a great comfort to know that as Christians, we have no need to fear death.
Tonight, I had a choir/handbell concert. It was actually about 15-20 ensembles from the School of Music that performed. Some of the repertoire was incredible and I felt privileged to be performing with such talented musicians. It makes me want to work harder at perfecting what I am doing.
I'm off to have a bit to eat, maybe a game of scrabble, and then time for some much needed beauty rest.
